BACK TO BASICS – Tom Ford Lipstick in “Sable Smoke” & “Spanish Pink” Review

Olá amores!

So today I wanna talk about my holy grail Tom Ford lipsticks.

Yes, lipstick – I know there are so many products in the market, but lemme get back to basics today.

I’ve been using these babies for a while, and gosh they’re still my absolute favorite.

The color payoff is extremely great and more than anything, the formula is so creamy it doesn’t dry me out at all.

I usually wear lip gloss on top with almost every lipstick because I’m feeling like 90% of lipsticks are drying me out.

However this baby, is the only lipstick that I feel comfortable without any lip gloss.

I’ve read about many reviews claiming the smells but personally I don’t find it that crazy.

Yes it’s $52 which is quite expensive for lipstick but trust me it’s worth of every penny!

Anyway here’s the swatch on my hand.

REVIEW – TOM FORD LIPSTICK IN “SABLE SMOKE” & “SPANISH PINK”

And here’s swatch on my lips.

I didn’t wear any of chapstick, concealer or lip liner underneath.

REVIEW – TOM FORD LIPSTICK IN “SABLE SMOKE” & “SPANISH PINK”

Sable Smoke (natural sunlight)

Sable Smoke is peachy nude lipstick it kinda reminds me of Freckletone lipstick by Mac,

but Freckletone is paler and Sable Smoke has more orange-brown undertone.

Because of my medium to tanned complexion, looking for wearable nude lipstick is always a tough mission.

Sable Smoke doesn’t wash me out and absolutely stunning for someone who has same complexion like me.

This become my go-to nude lipstick!

REVIEW – TOM FORD LIPSTICK IN “SABLE SMOKE” & “SPANISH PINK”

 Spanish Pink (natural sunlight)

Spanish Pink is coral pink lipstick it kinda reminds me of Coral Pink creamy lip color by Bobbi Brown,

but Coral Pink is pinker and Spanish Pink is lighter and has more orange-coral undertone.

This color is really flattering with every age, skin tone and makeup look from natural to smoky eyes!

I know matte lips has been big trend, but big shout out to classic lipstick looks.

I’d definitely love to try another color like Blush Nude, Pink Dusk and Wild Ginger.
